I truly can't speak highly enough about my experience at Woodruff Smiles Dentistry in Greenville, South Carolina.
As someone who originally lived in Denver, Colorado, and had established a strong relationship with my home office at Aurora Dentist & Orthodontics with Dr. Tesar, I never imagined I'd find myself needing dental care in a completely different state—let alone having to navigate continuing my Invisalign treatment while in the middle of a major life change.
After moving from Denver to Asheville, North Carolina, to help with disaster cleanup efforts following Hurricane Helene, I was uncertain how I would manage my ongoing dental treatments. I left behind everything I had set up in Denver—the doctors, the appointments, and most importantly, my Invisalign treatment.
My situation seemed tricky: I didn't know how I'd be able to continue my progress while balancing a demanding seven-day work week in disaster relief. But the collaboration between Dr. Tesar in Denver and Dr. Frassrand in Greenville, made all the difference.
Dr. Tesar went above and beyond by reaching out to Dr. Frassrand to ensure that I could continue my Invisalign treatment. Thanks to their coordination, I was able to have my teeth scanned at Woodruff Smiles Dentistry, with the files promptly sent back to Denver so that I could receive my next set of trays.
The seamless teamwork between the two offices was an absolute lifesaver and allowed me to stay on track with my dental treatment while focusing on the important work I was doing in North Carolina.
From the moment I walked into Woodruff Smiles Dentistry, I felt incredibly welcomed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I immediately knew I was in good hands. Dr. Megan Frassrand was so kind and caring, and she took the time to ensure that I felt comfortable and at ease, just like I did back at my home office in Denver. The office staff was equally exceptional, showing genuine concern for my dental health and making sure I had everything I needed. They went above and beyond in providing phenomenal customer service, ensuring that my care wouldn’t be interrupted while I was working tirelessly in the disaster zone.
In an incredibly challenging time, the team at Woodruff Smiles Dentistry not only made sure my treatment continued without pause, but they also made me feel like family.

Dr. Megan and staff are absolutely amazing. I came into the office with an emergency visit and was seen promptly. I was in a lot of pain and the team was very sympathetic and worked to find a solution. Dr. Megan even contacted my primary doctor for me to explain her findings and discuss further actions needed. She advocated for me which helped me with getting what I needed from my doctor when I visited a day later. The entire team here is amazing and I will be making this my primary dentist from now on.

I’ve tried for several weeks to schedule with the periodontist. After providing them with the list of things they need before scheduling (ID, medical insurance, dental insurance, long medical questionnaires…), I still didn’t get a phone call to schedule an appointment. So then I called, only to be placed on hold for over 20 minutes. When I called back, the lady told me they were understaffed, took down my name and promised me that she would call me back that day to schedule. That was like a week ago - and I never heard back and I still don’t have an appointment. Do not waste your time with this practice. I am in the medical field and this is totally unacceptable!

Nothing against the dentists of this office but the front desk medical assistants were not helpful at all. Would not call back when they said they would. Tried to overcharge me when my insurance covered 80%. Also, they charge a $100 deposit when scheduling a procedure and they tell you you get it back toward your bill after the procedure. Well they missed that, and when I called they said “oops, looks like we missed that, sorry.” Wondering how many people they are doing this to…..

Stay away! I cannot be more clear about this. They dont give you a cleaning on the first visit and evaluate you for what type of cleaning you'll need next time. What?? Then they push unnecessary procedures and claim your teeth and gums NEED these items. They also try to overcharge your insurance and then when you get the big estimates for out of pocket amount, they tell you "we have some wiggle room in that number" like its a used car dealership and we're negotiating on my teeth. Went to another more reputable dentist the next day and was told that everything they told me was unnecessary and I needed no additional treatments other than a cleaning. Find a real and reputable dentist and save yourself the trouble.
