Very rarely do I give any place five stars but I have to give this one five star. The doctor I just met was phenomenal. She was young, knowledgeable, just her whole demeanor in my opinion was a breadth of fresh air when it comes to going to a dentist. I can't say enough good things about this particular place. The next time I go here to have a teeth cleaning or whatever it is that I do I won't be so anxious like I usually am going to a dentist.
One thing about my reviews is I'm very honest and can be brutal. There was nothing negative about my experience at woodruff smiles dentistry. They were fantastic.

I went to this clinic for a routine check-up and to take advantage of a promotion offering X-rays, cleaning, and other services for $59. At the beginning, I tried to pay in cash with $100, but they told me that if I paid that amount, the rest of the $59 would go onto a credit for the dentist, and they wouldn’t give me any change. This felt off from the start.
The dentist himself was great, and I loved how he treated me during the check-up. However, after the evaluation, a woman came to explain that I would owe $275 instead, saying they had already applied a discount from the original $800 price. I was confused, as I only came in for a basic check-up and to see if I had any cavities.
She then insisted that I needed an additional “important cleaning with laser” and other treatments, claiming it was crucial for my oral health. I explained that I’m a student with insurance in my home country, and I wasn’t looking for any extra procedures. However, she continued to pressure me, showing pictures of teeth that were bad on the wall, and said that if I didn’t take care of it, my teeth would fall out too.
When I questioned why I couldn’t just receive the services I paid for, she told me that my dentist was “ethically not allowed” to provide the cleaning without the extra treatments. I’m 23, have no cavities, and no immediate dental concerns, so I was confused by the pressure, and I go to the dentist at least 2 or 3 times a year.
Finally, after I asked for a refund because I literally had to convince her that I just wanted the basic profi, she suddenly said the dentist would proceed with the cleaning. I thought she had already said he wasn’t ethically allowed to do so.
There is no law that specifies a provider can deny the service they offer based on “ethical reasons.” If you advertise a specific service and the customer agrees to it, you should honor that agreement. It’s misleading to offer one thing and then insist on extra, expensive services, especially when you’re not informed upfront. I believe businesses should honor the services they’ve advertised and agreed upon, without trying to upsell additional treatments that aren’t necessary. It feels like a scam.

Wanted to give shout out to Woodruff Smiles! Had a Great experience from JJ who helped get me get started with insurance info and setting up my dental portal, very nice lady, explained everything and helped get me a fair cost! Also Karie who did my Deep Clean procedure, explaining to me all her process and educating on what was needed to get me back on track! She was Awesome!

Woodruff Smiles Dentistry, was recommended to me for Periodontal work, that I needed to have done. From the very first appointment I attended, I felt at home and very comfortable. My experiences and the way I was made feel so at ease and cared about. I changed my future dentistry needs and appointments to Woodruff Smiles Dentistry!

I had a root canal done with Dr. Bevens. She did an excellent job. It was not an easy procedure since I had. a temp crown. And I did have some gum complications after the procedure. But she did see me and explained everything and was able to solve my problem. And I had some health insurance questions and they were also taken care of. So if you need a dentist, call them today and they will work with you to accommodate your needs!
